Go down to the water cross the borderline
Wet my toes and take in the view
Hold onto my breath as I wait for you

Big black bird look you in the eye
Belly’s full he got too big to fly
Pull the trigger hear a mighty sound
Look at all the feathers lying on the ground

It’s only fair

Hidin in the shallows down in the bay
Hopin that you’ll save me for another day
I turn my head I don’t why
See your shadow dancing all across the sky

Water’s cool as you’re closing in
Feel the pain a comin as you hook my skin
It goes in deep but I will not cry
Sorry if I tangle up your fishin line
